BIOGRAPHY
Wesley, born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, began performing in his high school theatre productions, taking roles in both school-sponsored and professional troupe productions before attending Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011. At university, Wesley majored in Theatre Studies and focused heavily on writing and stage management before singing became his recognized feature. After appearing in a number of musicals during his time at NWU, his focus shifted to singing and writing.
Upon graduating from college in 2015, Wesley relocated to Chicago, Illinois, and began working on his first EP: Rhythm of Heartbreak. Originally released in May 2016, "Heartbreak" was inspired by the house and synth-pop genres of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The title track remains released as the first and only single.
Following the release of the frenetic Rhythm of Heartbreak, Wesley began experimenting with hip-hop and classic R&B and Pop sounds and began producing and writing for his debut LP, entitled Indigo.
Now released, Indigo demonstrates a developed sound and deepened vision of production for Wesley. The LP's first single, "Sunrise" was released in January 2018 to positive review; and the second single, "Chewing Gum" was released in June 2018 to all streaming and digital purchase services.
Indigo was released on May 21, 2019.

REVIEWS
"...30 seconds in and you’ll find that your skin is crawling with goosebumps. The sound created by Wesley puts a modern twist on existential feelings. The track is just you and the guiding lyrics of Wesley’s ethereal vocals. With each verse, he pulls you deeper into the muted baseline that works alongside the solemn play of the songs every note and chord. It’s through the progression of each musical component that we come to eventually find ourselves fully immersed in the hollow harmonies of “Sunrise.” Eventually, almost surprisingly the tracks desolate soundscape begins to dissolve as it is replaced by storied melodies that work to send us inward on an introspective journey."
